Mrs. Annettia Johnson Griffith, age 91 of Moravian Falls passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Annettia was born July 25,1932, in Wilkes County to Pinkney M. and Elzora Church Johnson. She was an amazing woman with many passions in life, such as, raising her children, helping with her grandchildren, sewing, woodworking, gardening and she did this while working a full-time job. Annettia retired from Tyson Foods after 20 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Robert (Bob) Griffith, a son; David Dean Griffith and a grandson; David Griffith Jr and a great great great-grandchild; Eleanor and three brothers and sisters-in-law; Lester and Mary Bell Johnson, Albert and Lula Johnson and Grady Johnson.
She is survived by two daughters; Linda Mae and husband Douglas, Joyce Ann and husband Tony both of Moravian Falls, a son; Ronnie Griffith and Carla Coffey of Lenoir, grandchildren; Donna (Oliver), Tony Jr., Timmy (Kailee), Ronnie II (Madison), Misty (Derrick), Adam, Bradley, Summer, Thomas, great grandchildren; Jordan (Kirkland), Kassie (Derrick) Olivia (Dakota), Trey (Marie), Easton, Jarrett, Chase, Toby, Tucker, Sawyer, Emersyn, Everlee, Finley and great great grandchildren; Alexandria, Brayden and a brother and sister-in-law; Ernest and Judy Johnson of Millers Creek.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice.
